Is your child unable to meet their communication needs through speech? This workshop will help you understand the true purpose behind communication and help you recognise, understand and improve any communication they may already have. You will gain knowledge of different types of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and understand how to everyone can access the language they need to say what they want to say, when they want to say it. Most importantly you will learn the techniques that will give the person you are supporting the best chance to reach their communication potential.
